This dropdown menu contains an assortment of disc reviews of rock guitar music. It has been reorganized to allow for easier reading and the ability to add more material in the future without overwhelming the menu. Artist pages feature Jimi Hendrix, Cream/Eric Clapton and Led Zeppelin, but there will be more to come including the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and the Doors and many assorted artists from the 60s through the 90s. Over the years I bought a lot of sound product so all of the discs I review, I had at one point or another in my life.
The length or depth of the review is not necessarily any indication of my affection for the music. I tend to explain more of discs that I think might be unfamiliar to readers than other albums that they have probably heard. Of course almost all of these artists featured are being reviewed from a guitarist’s point of view or are discs that I think guitar players should hear. That doesn’t mean they won’t resonate with anyone else, but there are certainly great discs from every era that are not on here and by no means do I think this is a comprehensive list. New reviews will be added sporadically; these pages are very much a work in progress, so check back from time to time if you find the site interesting.
